The Adam and Eve Worship
How it came about and what it isTiny Bit About Me
This isn’t about me, but you may want enough context to know how this came about.
I was baptized in a Southern Baptist Church when I was 7 or 8, after high school I got away from church, met my love and we were married. Once our oldest child got to be 5 we decided to get back into the church, so they would have church friends and we would meet those friends parents. At that point church was serving more as a social club, but we did commit to tithing and have done that since. In the last 20 years, I have become more serious about my Christian walk. We have hosted and continue to host and moderate Bible studies in our home. With the Internet we have used recorded messages from great preachers across the US. Gateway Church in the Dallas area, Victory Church in Tulsa, Christ’s Church of the Valley in the Phoenix area, our home church ITown, in Fishers Indiana and a few others.
From both our home church and these others, we started hearing more sermons on the Holy Spirit. I began to read more in the Bible and other resources on the subject. I believe the Holy Spirit lives in us, guides us and speaks to us.
My Visions
Over the past 2 years I have had a handful of what I call visions, that are vastly different than my normal dreams. They are different in that I remember them vividly, which with dreams I barely recall upon awaking, and 20 minutes after being awake I don’t remember any detail, just a general idea. The visions are very focused on God and spiritual realm.
My visions have occurred in three different forms, the first almost as if being inside a video game and I was one of the characters being directed by God on my actions. The second and third, as a narrated story, where I was shown someone (but not me) doing things while being told how and why they were doing them. The most recent two, have been like a Video Powerpoint, where there is moving video of things but a specific set of instructions verbally passed on (in the vision I heard it). Of these recent visions, the first one was, here is an introduction to the concept, and the second a review and filling in details.
These last two visions that I mention I now call the Adam and Eve worship. My wife and I did this, and spent a bit over 2 hours in worship and following the instructions I was provided.
I am providing what I was instructed, and how we carried out some of those steps. I am not asking for your approval, or disapproval, God is who I am trying to please.
Setup – Getting Prepared
My vision was a worship service, or enhanced communion might be a better way to say it. It was to be simple, but the second vision emphasized that several things should be done in a certain way.
There are many steps, but I simply wrote them in my notebook that I referred to during the time. Only a few items were told for me to have, and I added one, just because it is meaningful to me.
In the vision this was to happen in my family room with my wife and I.
I was directed to have fire, in my vision it was my fireplace in my family room, but I was told to light it at a specific point in the service.

A play list of worship songs, I have Amazon devices in my home, so I used that, it was made known to me that I would know which songs to put in my list, so I simply called up Christian praise songs from Amazon and 11 songs absolutely jumped at me to include them. This makes me think that each person will probably have a personal play list based on what God wants to tell you and you not being distracted by my choices that you may not like.
Recently our church had a 3 day revival and during that they handed out communion packs (Communion Happy Meals as our Pastor calls them). I put them on the table as well. This was the item of my choice.
I was told to make myself clean (which I understood to be a shower) immediately before.
The next instruction was to do the service nude. My wife and are not walk around the house naked kind of people so I didn’t know how she would take that.
I was instructed to either stand or kneel but not sit (and that was a clear direction).
I was instructed to remove clocks, turn off phones, and anything that could distract or interrupt.
I would also advise putting a box of tissues near by, as this was VERY emotional.
Steps
Here are the steps as they were given to me, communion was done immediately after the anointing step.
Reminders:
- Stand or kneel, no sitting (obviously do this to your best ability if you have a physical condition)
- Adjust your thermostat, or if using a fireplace crank a good fire when you are instructed to start it.
There is no time on this, we spent just over two hours.
- Remove the distractions, turn off phones, remove clocks, turn off laundry that might buzz.
- Get all the pieces and put on a small table or close access to the room. (matches or lighter for your fire), tissues
- Have your playlist and how you will play it, a smart device, smart phone (but disable all rings, vibrations etc), you just need to be able to easily adjust volume.
- Use notes if you need to, this was helpful in the opening statement, and anointing, and following the steps
- Get yourself clean, whatever that means to you.

Statement of Worship
Heavenly father, we come before you today just as your first creation Adam and Eve, we are here naked and unashamed and we wish to commune with you. You promise in Matthew that if two are gathered in your name you will be in the midst of them. We are here.
(Now Light the Fire)
Worship
I was to start my playlist of songs (on repeat) at a high volume and sing, praise and worship through 4 songs, then turn the music down and let it remain playing in the background.
Time of Prayer on the mightyness of God
Acknowledge God in prayer. Who He is. His creation. Pray to God about God.
Out Loud Confession of Sins
Confess your sins out loud. Both of us confessed sins, some were personal “I” sins, some were “we” sins, we just went until the other stopped and then confessed more and more until we just were done.
Anoint Each Other With Oil
We both stand,
The husband says “Heavenly Father, anoint us with your Holy Spirit”
The husband takes the bowl of oil and dips a finger in the oil and places it on the forehead of the wife and says, “Holy Spirit I anoint [spouse first name] with this oil on her head so that she will always know Your ways and know Your plans.”
Wife holds out her hands, husband places drop of oil on back of each hand and says, “Holy Spirit I anoint [spouse first name] with this oil on her hands that they will be for Your service, to do good deeds and to lift others up.”
Man kneels in front of wife and places drops of oil on the top of her feet and says, “Holy Spirit I anoint [spouse first name] with this oil on her feet, so she will always walk in Your ways, and be where You need her to go.”
Man stands back up, and places drop of oil on her chest at the top of her breast bone drawing a line down to just above the naval and says, “Holy Spirit I anoint [spouse first name] with this oil on her heart and body, that she may be filled with the Spirit.”
(use the towel to wipe off any excess, or if you are worried about damaging or staining floors)
Now the wife should follow the same steps, anointing her husband, substituting his name.
After the wife completes anointing the husband, he should say “Holy Spirit be on us and in us and fully reveal our spiritual gifts, fill us with the spirit of Joy, a forgiving heart, faith that we may perform miracles, speak in tongues and have us fulfill the purpose you have set out for our lives. Amen.”
Quiet time
Just take a few moments to reflect, catch your breath, listen for God to speak to you, in our instance a very meaningful worship song came up and we turned the volume up and just let it take us in.

Cast out impurities
Speak over each other in faith to cast out impurities, break strongholds, heal, protect
Prayers of Thanks
Thank God for everything you have.
Prayer/Praise
Again just a few moments of reflection, praise, worship, just be, listen for God
Pray for Blessings
Pray for specific blessings, I was instructed to be VERY specific, nothing was promised
Worship
Play at least 2 more worship songs.
Final Prayer
Thank God for being with you. Ask for wisdom in achieving the purpose he has called you to do.
Reflections on this
For me it is one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. I have not received instruction, but if my wife is willing, I would like to do it again at least once a year. If she isn’t, I may have her schedule a day away and do the pieces I can without her, but there would be so much missing from not hearing her prayers, what she is thankful for, what she is asking for blessings for. I’m not saying worshipping my creator is not enough, but my vision was for me and my wife.
As I write this down, I feel a whisper of “don’t let it be legalistic” in my mind. My wife and I spoke to each other, hugged a few times, and giggled about blowing our noses a hundred times each during the service. If you say something wrong, or you do one step in front of the other, it isn’t ruined. This vision came to me, so His instructions to me could be different to you. I would suggest praying over your plan the night before and asking for clarity or changes.
I was in prayer the day after this, thanking God for the vision and the experience, and a very clear thing popped in my mind,
“Who are you going to tell about this?”
my response was something along the lines of “WHAAAAT? You want me to tell anybody that my wife and I worshipped and prayed naked for two hours.” So here I am telling anybody with access to the Internet, that is exactly what we did. We sang, we held our hands up, we shouted halleluiahs, we were joyous, we cried, we cried a lot, we cried worshipping, we cried confessing, we cried thanking God for everything. We tried to be like David in our song and our praise. Bottom line is, we were two naked Christians just worshipping and experiencing God.
Did it make a difference being naked? I think it does, the anointing would have been cumbersome clothed, and sure as the world, I would have dripped on piece of clothing my wife didn’t want dripped on. We are both introverts, and as I mentioned previously we are not walk around the house naked, or even in just underwear people, but here we are naked with God, I might as well put it all out there. The windows, blinds and shutters were all closed, but if anybody did see, I wanted them to have no doubt that I am crazy for God. My praise was more exuberant, my confessions more deep, some of my confessions my wife had no knowledge of, so it was very much a here I am warts, blemishes, chub and all. My wife is beautiful, but in our worship time there was no arousal for her body. (note: make sure your thermostat is set appropriately for a period of time undressed). My wife is also very body conscious, when I told her we were to do this naked, she took a deep breath and then said OK, we need to do it.
What about the being clean? I don’t know, I just heard in the vision make sure you are clean when you do this. I didn’t feel like we were to do a ritual cleansing, I just got cleaned up in the shower like I was going to a very important meeting that was going to have an impact on my life. Hair washing, body wash, and fresh shave. For women, I wouldn’t recommend the make-up, between the oil and the crying make-up is going to get destroyed. Also, many times I was on my knees with my face on the floor.
What qualifies us to anoint each other? Nothing, I was told to do it. Somebody had to be the first to anoint somebody else, they didn’t go to Bible college or have a degree in anointing.
What qualifies us to cast out demons and impurities? Mark 9:38, Hebrews 2:4, and I was told to do it.
What about the worship music? Our home church worships LOUD, and we love it. Nobody next to me can hear how poorly I sing, I am definitely making the joyful noise. Like I said earlier, I opened up the Amazon Music app, searched the Christian Praise songs and these songs just jumped out, we knew 9 of them, 2 were new. I had hoped my TV app would play the music and show the lyrics, but it did not, so I just used my speaker device and we just seemed to supernaturally know the words. I screwed the words up in a few places, but if anything I made God chuckle. We also for some time in worship song, when a song is referring to me (but uses you) I replace the word with me or I, so instead of may God bless you and keep you, I will sing may God bless me and keep me.
During the music, we are very much hand lifters, during this service I just went for it, waving, bouncing on my feet, beating the air (all like David is described doing). If you are person that thinks the old hymn “It is well (with my soul)” is inspirational and encouraging I don’t know how this thing is going to work for you, but that is between you and God on selecting your songs. I would encourage everyone reading this to look at this message on worship. I encourage you during worship to WORSHIP!! If you can cheer on a sports team full of imperfect people and shout and wave for them, why not do that for your creator?
I have kids, how do I do this? Well, if you are my kids and found this, call us, and we will keep the grandkids for 4 or 5 hours while you do this. If you don’t have a family resource, check for a church resource, find another couple and you watch theirs one day and they watch yours another. We couldn’t have done it with kids in bed, we were way to loud. I know a few families that could probably do this as a family. But if the emotions get crazy like they did in our experience I don’t know how kids would react. All I can say is pray about it.
What if I’m single or my spouse won’t do it with me, or they are weirded out by the naked part? I would recommend praying about it. The blessing of hearing my spouse praying, worshipping, the anointing, the speaking over each other, was just incredible, and feeling the presence of God just amplified all of it.

What are you getting out of this? At this point nothing, I am just sharing, because God asked me who I was going to tell. God has a plan related to me telling some of you, whether that turns into a book, an e-book, an audio or a podcast, I have no idea and will let God reveal to me the next steps. I created a website, because I know how to do that.
